This classic show features 3 keyboards, all contributing to create the lush, symphonic score. This programming is a very close replication of the original Broadway programming as heard in the Original Cast Recording.

• Keyboard 1 is the primary piano book with a handful of patches, including harp, marimba*, organs, strings, calliope, EP's, harpsichord, and sound effects. This book is very challenging and requires a proficient keyboardist who is comfortable with keyboard programming.

• Keyboards 2 and 3 contain many orchestral instruments to augment the sound of your orchestra, including harp, brass, woodwinds, mallet percussion, strings, and other orchestral keyboard instruments.

• There is also an optional Keyboard 4 book that acts as a string reduction with hundreds of patch changes. This book is very tricky and requires a keyboardist who is very comfortable navigating the book with quick patch changes. It is recommended that you only use this book if you are NOT utilizing live strings in your pit. This programming is currently in the works and currently available through KeyboardTEK and Stage Sounds.

*The "Dry Marimba" patch in the Keyboard 1 file I normally forward contains a recreation of the original Broadway patch, however I can also incorporate the DX7 patch from the original 1989 cartoon upon request.
